We’re Trojan, 21, living in Crumlin on the southside of Dublin and Lisa, 17 and currently living in Hollystown in the north of Dublin. Welcome to our little Blog! We’ve been here for a few weeks now, and we would love to share some of our experiences and highlights from our time in Dublin. 

Our first weeks here were really nice. We spent four weeks at school, and it was a great way to start our stay. The school building was beautiful, and it helped us get comfortable and find our rhythm. The teachers were kind and it was a great chance to meet new people and spend time with classmates. 

After school, we often explored Dublin together. We walked through the city, discovered new areas, spent a lot of money and enjoyed the atmosphere. When the weather is good, Dublin is a really nice place, the light, the buildings, and the energy in the streets make it feel very special.

One of our favourite experiences until now was the Cliff Walk. It’s a coastal walk with amazing sea views - we had a great time there. You can choose how long you want to walk. It can take from one up to six hours if you want to do the full route. The scenery is beautiful, and even though it’s quite different to Switzerland, it’s definitely worth it. 

We also went fishing in Howth, which is the same place where the Cliff Walk is located at. Being out on the boat was such a fun experience, being able to spot some dolphins and seeing the coastline from the water was really beautiful. The whole area of Howth has such a nice vibe, it is one of our favourite spots in all of Dublin. You can go for a walk, have some amazing fish and chips, visit nice restaurants, enjoy the good atmosphere by the sea and if you’re lucky you get to see some sealions. 

Overall, our time in Dublin has been really good so far. We have had a lot of fun, met some new people and created so many nice memories. We’re already looking forward to the next few weeks that are ahead for us!
